牛传欣副研究员,博士,上海市首届“青年东方学者”,瑞金医院康复医学科康复工程实验室负责人。2010年获美国伊利诺伊大学生物医学工程专业神经康复 方向博士学位,2010年至2014年于美国南加州大学从事博士后研究,2015年始任职于上海交通大学附属瑞金医院。临床研究成果获邀在美国神经康复医 师学会(ASNR)演讲报告,工程成果发表于机器学习领域知名会议NIPS,发表SCI文章10余篇。主要研究方向:感觉运动控制在康复临床中的恢复机 理、神经拟态芯片在临床中的应用、运动障碍及运动控制的数学模型、肌电控制下的康复仪器开发。

Dr. Chuanxin Niu studied electrical engineering (B.S. 2006) at Beijing Institute of Technology and biomedical engineering. He received Ph.D. in BioEngineering from University of Illinois at Chicago specialized in neurorehabilitation, co-advised by Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago. From the year 2010 to 2014, Dr. Niu completed his postdoctoral training as research associate at University of Southern California, Department of Biomedical Engineering, Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy. His interdisciplinary work has been accepted for oral presentation at American Society of Neurorehabilitation (ASNR) and published in Neural Information Processing System (NIPS), a leading conference proceeding in machine learning. Dr. Niu joined the Department of Rehabilitation, Ruijin Hospital, SJTU in 2015. His current research focuses on neural control of movements, mechanisms of neurological diseases with movement impairments, and how to apply principles of neural computation in neurorehabilitation.
