Ji Xiang Dr. Ji received the BEng and PhD degrees in biomedical engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU), Shanghai, China, in 2005 and 2012, respectively. He has been with School of Biomedical Engineering in SJTU since July 2012, focusing on the clinical translation of therapeutic ultrasound. He participated in the design, development, regulatory certification and clinical verification of a B-mode ultrasound-guided high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) phased array system for treatment of uterine fibroid from 2013 to 2019. From 2020 to 2021, he worked in Inserm in France as postdoctoral researcher, focusing on trans-esophageal ultrasound-guided HIFU for arrhythmia treatment. He is member of Youth Committee of Shanghai Society of Engineering in Medical Ultrasound. |
