Dr. Feng Shen is a tenure track associate professor in School of Biomedical Engineering, Med-X Research Institute, Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Dr. Shen received his Ph.D. degree from the University of Chicago. After graduation, he continued worked at the University of Chicago as Postdoc researcher. In 2011, he co-founded SlipChip Corporation to commercialize SlipChip technology, which he co-invented previously. In company, he served as director of research and development and PI/co-PI for grants from NIH. His work has been published on JACS, Analytical Chemistry, Lab on a Chip, PNAS, etc. He has a broad interest in new microfluidic platforms for diagnostics and life science research, including but not limited to, digital nucleic acid amplification, single cell analysis, liquid biopsy, cancer immunotherapy, integrated point-of-care systems.
