Dr. Hongjiang Wei is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Lyon in France in 2014 and did the postdoc training at UC Berkeley. He has published more than 50 peer-reviewed papers in the past five years. He has led in the development of the very key quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) software package (STISuite), which are currently deployed in over 1000 research institutes worldwide. He has served as reviewers of several leading journals and academic conferences. His research focuses on MRI-based Quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM)， ultrahigh resolution brain microstructure imaging, diffusion tensor imaging, medical image analysis, and deep learning. His interests also extend to other organs, e.g., liver iron quantification, cartilage degeneration disease susceptibility mapping，kidney disease imaging using magnetic susceptibility.
