Xiaowei Li

Dr. Xiaowei Li is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering in 2007 from the University of Virginia. From 2007 to 2008, he worked in the Department of Electrical Engineering of University of Virginia as a Research Associate. He joined Shanghai Center for Systems Biomedicine in 2008 as an Assistant Professor and was promoted to Associate Professor in 2010. He has co-authored 40 peer-reviewed papers. He holds 15 patents and received grants from major funding agents including NSFC. The main research interests of his group include: super-resolution optical imaging, tissue clearing and 3D imaging.
