梁培基教授于1985年获上海交通大学工学学士学位，1988年获上海交通大学工学硕士学位，1996年获牛津大学生理学博士学位，1996-2002年在中国科学院上海生理研究所、中国科学院上海生命科学研究院任副研究员，2002年至今任上海交通大学生物医学工程系教授、博导。研究工作获得国家自然科学基金、科技部973计划和上海市科学技术委员会的支持。目前担任中国生物物理学会理事，中国神经科学学会理事，中国神经科学学会计算神经科学和神经工程分会主任，《生物物理学报》副主编、《生理学报》常务编委。梁培基教授参与了多种教科书/教学参考书的编写/编译工作，并参与了《辞海》（第六版）的编写。
