Jianguo Zhang(Adjunct Professor)

Dr. Jianguo Zhang is an Adjunct Professor of SJTU School of BME. He is a Professor and Director of the Laboratory of Medical Imaging and Informatics, Shanghai Institute of Technical Physics, Chinese Academy of Science. He received his Ph.D. degree in 1991 from Changchun Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics (CIOM), Chinese Academy of Sciences. Dr. Zhang was an Associate Professor of the National Key Laboratory of Applied Optics in CIOM from 1992 to 1994. From 1994 to 1998, he was a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Radiology, UCSF. In 1998, as one the awardees of 'One- Hundred Young Scientists Program', he became a Professor of Chinese Academy of Science. He was also an awardee of National Outstanding Young Scientist Award. He was a Visiting Professor of University of Southern California. His research interests include: Medical image processing; picture archiving and communication system (PACS); medical imaging and informatics; regional health information exchange; and electronic healthcare record.
