Dr. Qian Wang is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. He received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2013. He has published about 40 peer-reviewed papers in the past five years, which have been cited for more than 260 times. He has led or participated in the development of several medical image analysis software packages, which have been downloaded for more than 6000 times and are currently deployed in over 200 research institutes world-wide. He has served as reviewers of several leading journals and academic conferences. His research focuses on medical image analysis, computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. His interest extends to large-scale populations of multi-modal, multiorgan, and multi-dimensional image data.
