Dr. Biao Li is a Professor and Director of the Department of Nuclear Medicine of Ruijin Hospital, affiliated to SJTU School of Medicine. Dr. Li is also an Adjunct Professor of SJTU School of BME. He received his M.D and Ph.D. degrees in 1987 and 1998, respectively, from SJTU School of Medicine. In 1992, Dr. Li was a visiting scholar conducting clinical and research work at the University of Bordeaux II. From 1999 to 2002, Dr. Li conducted postdoctoral research on the molecular mechanisms of breast cancer in US. In 2000, Dr. Li was awarded a postdoctoral fellowship from the Department of Defense. Since 1998 Dr Li has been the PI of eight research grants from both NSFC and Shanghai Municipality. Dr. Li has published over one hundred research papers including 26 SCI journal papers. His research interests include: Molecular nuclear medicine; and clinical and preclinical research by applying PET/CT.
