Dr. Haiyan Li is an Associate Professor of Biomedical Engineering. She received her Ph.D. degree from Shanghai Institute of Ceramics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2005. After graduation, she worked in Unilevel Research China through April 2006. Then she did postdoctoral research in Monash University in Australia, and in INSERM. She joined the faculty of SJTU School of Biomedical Engineering in 2011. She has published 34 SCI papers with a total impact factor over 80, which have been cited over 700 times. She has also obtained 'Pujiang Scholar Program Award' of Shanghai municipality. The main research interests in her group include: Bone tissue engineering and angiogenesis in tissue engineered constructs, including development of new biomaterials for stimulating angiogenesis in tissue-engineered constructs and investigation of the related mechanisms
